To represent subculture of skaters, we were asked to create a publication as a group, within the group each of us were assigned a spread in the publication, covering a different topic about the subculture.
As well as creating the publication itself we had to create a typeface that embodied the subculture. We were limited to the typeface of Helvetica as the base for the typeface. I had come up with a sketch for the new typeface which the group had decided to go with.
